this is exactly what everyone said about aopi when they started too. Everyone kept saying they already jumped agd and deeph, but it's not all about looks. Being in a sorority is a numbers game, so until we see where KD's numbers are at, their survival/status above agd and deeph is very up in the air. If they didn't get more than 100, they're gonna double recruit like aopi did in their first formal recruitment, lose interest of girls, and end up right where aopi is with their "hot ones" abandoning ship.

All colonizing classes are hand picked by nationals, the following pcs usually are not great ngl. For context, gphi colonized with a full 250 girls and that’s the only reason they rushed ok the next year. Aside from that, out of the girls my friends and I know kd took, there’s a few who were cut from recruitment for being incredibly rude to various sororities, so idk if their nationals don’t get that info from panhel or if they didn’t care... i want KD to do well but yikes

Aopi colonized with 110 and cut a ton too. also i just find it funny how everyone shat on phi for being so superficial but then turns around and makes it so important for sorority girls to be hot lol

Michigan may have grown too fast in the sorority department, as not every group that colonized is at chapter total. Back when AOII/GPHI/KD were chosen the greek population was large and growing, but AEPhi and ZTA had also just been added into the mix.
A recent nationwide 'baby bust' has also caused pnm numbers to go down.
NPC needs to note that in sixteen, eighteen and twenty years there should be a LOT of pnm students, as a LOT of babies and toddlers have been born in the past few years.

Having helped recruit a new colony before, I’ll say this: it’s one thing to get members when you hand-pick them and the entire pool clearly wants to be in the chapter. It’s another thing entirely when you’re in formal recruitment and dealing with hundreds of girls, some of whom might only want 1-2 chapters, and some who might not want to be Greek at all. The struggle with colonies is that they won’t have historical return rates to inform RFM so they’ll have to garner a ton of consistent interest before formal recruitment so they have their pick of PNMs. They seem like they’re off to a good start with really great girls, but we’ll see how many they keep and if the interest stays.

This is true, Chi Omega is the biggest sorority in terms of numbers of members, but AOPi is the largest in terms of active chapters.

What. Aoii has like 144 chapters, chi o has 181, phi kd dz and adpi and zeta have about 170. Not even close. Also, their chapters at big schools tend not to recruit well and a lot of their chapters are at small schools.

You can literally look on Greek rank under rankings for largest sororities and fraternities, AOPi is first and it tells you how many chapters they have.

Yeah very incorrect that aoii is "non-existent." I feel like it's at every school. Also incorrect that their chapters aren't strong in the south, they are considered middle or top in all of Tennessee, UGA, Auburn, UF, etc.

“Do ya research” literally go to aoii’s website, they have 144 ACTIVE chapters. It doesn’t matter if they have 189 chapters including chapters that have closed. Dz has like 260 chapters if you’re including ones that have closed.
