Everyone is hoping it goes away including alpha phi executive offices....but We can’t let a sorority who’s membership selection process demeans our own chapters memebership selection process by giving us all a bad rep slide. My chapter selects women based on our values, their brains, leadership potential, uniqueness, etc. appearances have never been a part of it and that’s why this makes me so mad.

if u r really concerned, talk to the greek advisor about it. maybe the university will take exception to it as a violation of student conduct or something. i agree that ph won't want to do anything because it just makes everybody look bad. could be that more chapters do pretty much the same thing but in their own way.

There’s nothing that can be done about it. Membership selection is “ritual,” and Panhel doesn't have the power to regulate it.
The only way this will change is if A Phi’s own members threaten to blow their spot up and go to the media about it. The media loves stories about sororities acting like this, and honestly I’m surprised it hasn’t already broken through to them/been published somewhere.
