rushing as sophomore a disadvantage?

I'm an incoming transfer sophomore at UMich next year. Will it be a disadvantage rushing fraternities as a sophomore. I think I want to be in FIJI, SAE, or Phi Psi. Will me being a transfer sophomore hold me back?

As long as you can fit in with the brotherhood and hang with them during welcome week you should be fine.

It's not a problem. there's usually one sophomore per pledge class. Not sure how you know what frat you want to be in already though considering you haven't even rushed yet.
