by: wolverinewhats going on with aopi? I have them again for thirds and some of the girls are surprisingly really pretty and nice but ive also talked to some weirdos. I know they're new. Do they suck? If i end up having to choose between them and agd and dphe should i just drop or join aopi?

Heard KD Nationals was having some financial issues. They had to turn down several universities who were open for expansion because they didn't have the money or the staff.

Yep and for a vibe, i truly don’t know if there is one lol. I’ve met some who were super friendly and sweet and some not so much. Also a mix of girls, some are really cool and it should be interesting to see how they are in the next few years if their nationals don’t screw it up. Their bbq philanthropy was decent

I went to deeph and agd and they were a lot weirder than aoii. Aoii has some really pretty girls, but also some really weird ones. I am debating between dg, aoii, and gamma phi.

AOPi national is a mess (Dixie Mafia connected BTW). As the house is new combined with the nationals soaking the Michigan national for every cent they can get this house costs so much more to join than other more established houses. Many dropped last year due to the super high cost of membership. Your other options look solid so you don't need AOPi IMO. KD is a a HUGE question mark. Granted they do have a national that has much higher integrity than AOPi but joining a new house anyplace is no easy thing as traditions and roles take years to break. I give credit to KD for coming to our panhel but I wish Michigan Panhel had done its due diligence on the crooks that run AOPI national and never let them on the Michigan campus. This is no dis to the members that have joined AOPi as I think they have been duped and didn't know the national that was behind their organization. Just Google AOPi and look to see how many of their chapters have had their real estate in litigation as the national tried to steal from the local chapters and also look at the dues and fees of AOPi vs other NPC's.

Shut the fk up about high dues, Aopi dues are not the highest on campus and a quick search on panhels site proves that. There’s girls in every sorority who can’t afford the dues and don’t realize what they are getting into, that’s not specific to aopi. Stop trying to discredit the girls of aopi because of what you “heard” about their nationals, these girls love each other and have an incredibly close sisterhood and that’s what these girls should be looking for. Also if you’re basing how “weird” these girls are based off looks then you’re shallow af, how pretty the group is doesn’t mean anything if they have zero sisterhood.
