Girl just drop your house if you don’t agree with their values. Why name a person who got cut? That’s cruel! Chapter legacies are never an automatic bid at any house. No news there. All houses recruit based on looks. All houses have living room and kitchen girls. No news there. You revealed absolutely zero new information other than your sororities private membership selection process for which you should be removed from your house immediately. I think you need to resign and get some professional help if all this is weighing on your conscious so heavy for the past three years.

All if this can’t be true. Nationals doesn’t come and run a house’s rush. Guidelines? Yes. On looks? No. We purposely have our members make sure we aren’t “face rushing.” We don’t want pretty, valid girls. I call some bs. But yes we are lining up in a particular order - but not in such a calculated way! And I’m in a “top” house whatever the hell that means.

I’m a Zeta and our nationals come every year for rush to run it similarly to what she describes in her exposé. Not in this cruel demeaning way of course but there are 3-5 women from nationals “with clipboards” helping us

@also My chapter also has national reps come (as do most chapters), but they do not tell us who to drop and who to keep, that is up to us (unless is national policy like grade risks or something like that). Alpha Phi nationally seems to just be operating like this and i believe it is wrong. I believe new members should be picked based on a chapters values.
I guess the easy answer is if you want to be a part of a chapter that picks you because you’re “hot enough” that’s up to you, but I would join a chapter who picks people based on how they fit their values, leadership potetnial, and personality.

The girl that posted the article left her unique name on it accidentally. She had previously been the rush chair at alpha phi.

What tickles me about all this is that some of their international council are nothing to write home about in the looks department.

if you compare the appearance of alpha phi governing council to the other national groups, alpha phi doesn't even rise to the top 50%. tri-delt's council is gorgeous, so they clearly win and are the best national sorority. congrats to tridelta.

She graduated already and I'm also pretty sure she changed the names of the sisters. There would be no reason to attempt to conceal the name of the house if you were going to give real names of girls who would be easily searchable.
