how much time does a sorority take up each week?

Academics are obviously my number one priority but I’m also in UROP which requires me to do roughly 10 hours of research per week. I’m taking 13 credits this term plus the 10-12 hours of research a week. I really want to join a sorority but am nervous about the time commitment. How much time does a sorority take up per week?

for a lot of sororities the only necessary thing you have to go to is chapter which is like roughly an hour/hour and a half once a week and then every now and then you’ll have a philanthropy and you can go out to mixers whenever you want. it’s not a huge time commitment rush and see how you feel about it you can always drop if u need to. however the week of rush is hell so u prob won’t be able to do anything that week besides go to class and rush lol
