sororities cannot mix with unaffiliated frats

So, since sororities can get in trouble for mixing with unrecognized fraternities, why would a frat still have chosen to be unaffiliated? This is going to change the face of social events for unaffiliated fraternities at U of M, since the sororities will not be allowed to attend frat parties. If they do, they risk going on social probation themselves, or suffer even worse consequences from their nationals or panhel.

So sororities have the same prohibition again mixing with merger fraternities, but they do it anyway. No one enforces the rules which are a joke. This is a not a problem.

Sororities aren't the one with big problems with U of M Fraternity & Sorority Life office. Sororities can determine what's best for them with being told what to do by fraternities. U of M will always support sororities because they provide much needed student housing in a responsible way.

Heard couple sorority nationals told chapters not to do it. Believe when I see it. No one cares now. UM can't touch disaffiliates.

One national told members they lose their insurance if hang with merger or disaffiliate frats. Could be a big problem for some.
