transfer rushing
by: edp445I am about to be a freshman at SMU. However, I always have wanted to go to UMich. I plan on transferring there my junior year. Is rushing your junior year at UMich bad? Is there any chance of getting a bid from any fraternity?

Probably not.. Why don’t you rush at SMU and find a fit, it’s a lot easier to transfer into a chapter if you fit than to rush again as a junior without having been in a frat before. Also pretty sure SMU’s social life is very Greek oriented so if you’re planning on 2 years there it’ll probably be better on you to rush now

It's very hard to get a bid at SMU from top and even some mid tier houses without being a legacy or an athlete.
