why did no frat ask aoii to be pgp?
by: wtfyou bottom tier frats are always trying to claw your way out. Literally the best way to do that is to get close to a sorority and mix a ton with them. No one asking aoii is all of ur losses @lower frats.

When they first came on campus my frat threw them on the social schedule once and we had what seemed to be a good mixer. Only to get a bunch of accusations against us from the E Board to ours and threats to bring things to OGL/Nationals. Ever since we’ve never mixed with them again, I can see why others wouldn’t want them for PGP especially when there are far more variables in place at tailgates (ie: geeds)

Aopi’s social struggle started from the day they colonized. The original pledge class had a lot lf potential with a decent number of attractive and fun girls, but every time the chapter tried to do something fun they were shut down by nationals, advisors, and from what i’ve heard even girls on their leadership committee. Sounds like all the people in charge had sticks up their asses. They made it very hard for sisters to be candid with each other. A former aopi in my class told me that they weren’t even allowed to have a groupme with all the chapter members in it without it being monitered by nationals. Apparently every time sisters complained that there wasn’t enough social opportunities the response was “you shouldn’t be so concerned about social stuff, that shouldn’t be why you joined” then, when they were allowed to have mixers and stuff, girls just didn’t show up. It’s going to continue to be an issue in the upcoming semester because now the majority of their chapter is upperclassmen who won’t go to frats anyway. I think the only chance they have of retaining members this year is if they stop being so worried about bending the rules. You need to be competitive with other chapters on campus by letting loose and having fun
