Why is Kappa considered such an elite sorority?

Most of who's considered "elite" or not has to do with how many girls fall in love with a house during rush. Kappa has historically been really good at making girls feel welcome and engaged in whatever conversation they're having, which really helps them in that way.

They are considered elite because of their dads bank accounts.

This house has totally tanked over the past 3 years and is a shadow of what is was from 2012-2014 and before.

Well if they tanked the past few years, then why do frats like OX, Phi Psi, and AEPi continue to mix with Kappa?

Kappa is a little worse than a few years ago but still a top 3 sorority at umich. Everyone else is just hating. Only thing that would make them fall out of top 3 is if them and skrappa have similar rushes to last year.

Their women are cordial, polite, loyal, discreet, fun-loving, tidy, hospitable. Their women are chosen according to standards of character and deportment considered essential in the modern world. No NPC sorority excludes worthy women of any race, creed or limitation.

Kappa has been a top house at UM forever. It used to be more waspy and blonde, but it's been a top house since before these PNMs were born.
