truth about mergers

Mergers are almost always bad. The only ones who benefit are the kids who take over. The frat that takes in the new kids always loses.

-Dke: Brotherhood between new and old kids is literally nonexistent. Sig even banned original Dke brother from attending socials
-Zbt: Took in the TKE kids and were kicked off in one semester
-Dchi: Old kids were pushed out socially so thatchy could become sammy reborn

You have NOTHING to gain by taking in new kids into your frat. You may have a few good mixers at first, but the new kids don't care about you.

You seem to be ignoring xi and chi psi but also my guess is you aren’t posting this as advice for DU but rather because you’re mad they’re going to move up because of the merge. It’s pretty obvious both sides will benefit from this.

That isn't what I was getting at and sorry if it came out that way. Xi and chi psi was the only one that turned out well. Sigep are not dbags like sig/sammy/TKE so I doubt it will be a problem.

And it isn't salt, I hope they merge because the Sigep guys deserve better than what they have now, their nationals are killing them.

SigEp staff offers support to chapters. They cannot force individual members on any campus to make good choices.

du is well under way to being lit. in the past, the lower frat that merged was always bottom tier while du is in the middle. the du and sigep guys arent that different either
