That's true, quota used to be 50-60 and it's only gone up the past few years. Even the physical houses with the most rooms are struggling to fit everyone

The idea to add three NPC groups hatched in 2013. Zeta was added in 2010, but our PNM numbers had expanded into unwieldy territory and the average number of women in each group was forty over allowable chapter total.
Chosen to colonize were GPhi which began in Fall 2014; AO in Fall 2016, and KD will begin Fall 2018.
It's interesting to note we had 15 open chapters in 2011, and 16 open today. There ought to be room for the large number of pnms that want to join should we still add KD in 2018. If pnm and initiated membership numbers lower, KD could be asked to wait another year.

Zeta recolonized 2009! Also pnm numbers have been rising a little and there's always upperclassmen or girls who have been cross cut before prefs.

The whole point of adding more is to drop quota (approx. the same number of girls/more houses=smaller pcs).
