what do people not want to join bottom tier sororitys?

Honestly it all depends on why you rush in the first place. Some girls (most girls) are super into rankings and really care about their image on campus while other girls are just their to have a sorority experience. No matter where you end up,bottom tier or top tier as long as you like the girls you're with and feel welcomed their really is no difference (other than the frats you mix with)

This is probably the most relevant post ever on gr. As a society we are bred to care about status; where you live, vacation, what schools you went to, and then the entire college process. "Be the best," "stive for the best,"etc. In greek life (as in real life), there should not be a rough or status to choosing friends. Since when did you feel your friends weren't good enough? Why do you worry or care so much about where you land in the frat or sorority world if you actually are with people you like...that like you and that you have fun with? My advice...ignore the supposed ranks. Who can really rank friendship? Do the supposed top tiers make better friends or not? My guess is if you pledge a house where you like the people and that is how you make your decision, you'll have made the RIGHT decision. Don't let some silly ranking stop you from being with people you like.

Frats you mix with, but not who you date and become friends with.
True about the shallow girls that just want a ( alleged ) ranking.
Best experiences come from great honest friendships no matter what house you are in.
Go with your gut. Not by some half baked comments on this ridiculous web site. It is all nonsense.
