senior involvement
by: FreshmanHow involved are seniors usually in Greek Life? I understand that they don't go to every mixer and so forth, but do really that many people drop senior year? Do they still at least go to tailgates? And is it different for guys and girls?

Most seniors in my house had their own tailgates. I don't know very many seniors (especially girls) who tailgate with their PGPs. The guys don't go to wake ups either, that it mostly for sophomores. At that point, you are pretty done. That doesn't mean you aren't tight with your brothers or sisters, you have just moved on from the mixer/serenade/wake up/winterfest stage. Most seniors still go to the bars with their PC and are involved in IM sports, making them involved in a different way. You are an adult at that point and rather than expanding your social circle, you are trying to tighten it. And just in general, seniors don't go out as much.

Yeah it is kinda weird/sad for seniors to be rolling through to themed mixers or Winterfest. Greek Life is mainly for underclassmen tbh.
