sorority hazing

So I know this is not supposed to be public information but do any sororitys not force you to drink..I have a serious drinking problem when I start drinking I actually cannot stop myself from consuming alcohol until I throw up ..I seeked help and have been sober for about six months .. I think joining a sorority will be a great way to make new friends but I don't want to join one if I'm going to be forced to drink .. thanks

Kappa hazes the hardest. Once you are initiated, you need to be in Kappa for 4 years. Your sophomore year, they even force you to live in a house filled with Kappa girls.

while some top tier houses may have to some extent in terms of drinking, almost all other houses don't do any type of drinking hazing. any of those houses that you bond with girls over won't make you drink excessively if you don't want to!! there will always be nights in every house with older girls at pregames who might be encouraging drinks, but no one will force you to do anything. definitely rush to meet friends!!!!
