how did the chi psi/theta xi merger work?

Just wondering how did the kids in Chi Psi get to join Theta Xi if they were already initiated at Chi Psi? Also when did the merger happen and what was Xi like before they get the cool kids of Chi Psi?

I thought Sigma Pi merged with Theta XI? They are not listed on the IFC website.

Xi wasn't cool before the merger. Chi psi coming in and taking over helped out the house a lot

Every house has a mix of weird and cool guys. Old xi was mostly chill/sweet dudes who were just good people.
