Hi, which sororities do winter rush and how does it work? I'm transferring in and I really want to be in a sorority

These questions are best answered when the appropriate time comes. No chapter knows for absolute certain at this point in time whether they will winter rush. Anyone can guess and post here which chapters they believe might recruit, but your interest in winter rush will be sated after both Bid Day and Initiation this Fall. Check further then with the PA.

Idk if they actually ended up doing winter but so many in skrappas 2016 pc dropped that they at least were at risk of it

A lot of sororities actually do winter rush but they're normally only for a handful of spots. Therefore they don't do formal rush events, but instead extend bids to their friends. It's very low key

aopi was the only sorority to do formal winter rush. chi o, zeta and skrappa (and probably more) offered like 3 spots to girls that had friends in the sorority.

And by formal winter rush you mean AOPis were basically so new to campus their parties were more announced and open, unlike chio/sk/zta where small numbers were quietly and inexpensively bid with friends of friends. Nothing wrong with that.

NPC sororities hold high recruitment standards and practices, and none dirty rushes during Formal Recruitment here at Michigan.
