Chalk up another PR disaster for AOPi National Hillbillies on the transgender issue. Seriously can this National ever get anything right? Guess not. I truly feel sorry for this PNM and I wonder why DG or Kappa didn't invite her back as they have defined transgender policies (only 2 of 26 NPC orgs have specific policies).

#2by: I rushed her
I remember when she went through formal recruitment fall '15. She was nice to me but incredibly rude to all of my sisters. When she talks about there still having been one house that kept her but that she dropped, that was us. If someone is kind enough to keep you around and be willing to offer you a bid, you don't just tell them to eff off and sell your sad story. I highly doubt that this is AOPi's fault.

I rushed AOPi and didn't take my rush bid for outside reasons but talked to her during rush. She mentioned she was leaving the next day to get her gender reassignment sugery and then going home for the rest of the semester to recover--she wasn't going to be in town for the rest of rush, let alone the important first semester of colonization/bonding, which is enough of a reason not to extend a bid

I have to say that after thinking about this alot I would be ok with a transgender member so long as they had completed gender reassignment surgery completely. I am not sure how many college aged transgender individuals have completed all the surgery as its time consuming and very expensive. I have very mixed thoughts about someone that self-identifies as female but anatomically speaking is still male being a member of our house. Just my POV.
