am i lame for worrying too many hs friends are goi

to U-M? I attend an affluent Metro Detroit high school and dozens of kids from school are coming there this fall, plus all the local ones I know. Many are my friends but I'm trying to branch out. Seems like the 15s and 16s that went there all hang with each other. I've wanted to go to U-M all my life but it doesn't feel like "college" if it's just mostly people I know from high school, right?
