Will OGL boot SigEp-DU out of IFC for merging?

not an official merger so no problem for the IFC

If the Sig Eps attend DU social functions, pay dues, and hold leadership positions in DU, how is this not an official merger?

Because they are not initiated into DU officially, unless Sig Ep nationals gives the brothers permission

DU has a rule against initiating members of another fraternity. Sig Ep national will not approve. Sig Ep can only join DU in violation of both nationals' rules which violates IFC and OGL rules. How will this be allowed?

Because all cash deal. No records. OGL can't stop what they don't see. IFC is chill. Don't stay if you don't like.

SigEp will force the members to pay what they they owe, including damages, before they will release any of them. No other fraternity should interfere in the collection process by diverting SigEp brothers' funds into rent, dues, or underground slush funds.

You don't get. Sig Ep brothers don't need a release to merge into DU without initiating so there is no reason for them to pay Sig Ep national or house corporation anything. This is a cash deal. OGL can't stop mergers they can't prove. IFC doesn't care. Get on the merger train or get left behind.

Merging with DU doesn't equal relevancy, it equals disrespect for the brotherhood they joined. Were they really so scared of becoming irrelevant that they had to do this merger? Whatever. Sig Ep please chill the f out and stop hyping this merger.

Bragging about the merger doesn't make you relevant. Wrong that OGL and SigEp nationals don't already know. Covering up the merger with cash dues just gives them more reasons to kick SigEp/DU out of IFC.
