cut from my top choice

So im doing winter rush, and today I got an email saying I was cut. Its one of the top five, but I knew a brother prior to rush and got along great woth most of them. It really sucks because it genuinely felt like I fit in the guys. I dont really feel that with any other place I rushed. Advice?

Nothing much you can do other can keep rushing different places. If you're too late this semester then do next semester and aim for mid tiers - most will take sophomores if they're cool enough.
Also not saying you didn't but this is why you rush multiple fraternities and rush them all hard. Too many times people think they have an in with a frat and don't try at other open houses and then don't get a bid from their top pick and end up bidless.

I dunno then. Rush again next semester, choose different places. If it doesn't work out then maybe it's not meant to be
