I hope that our panhel stays on top of how AOPi national is treating the colony here at Michigan. I truly believe we never should have let such an unethical and morally challenged national come to our campus. But now that they are here I would hope that on behalf of the people that have unfortunately joined that organization that someone from panhel or the university is looking out to make sure that they aren't scammed or otherwise taken advantage of in ways that have been well documented at other schools. I would strongly advise anyone thinking about going greek to stay away from this national. A simple google search will explain exactly why.

You do realize panhel reached out to AOII about recolonizing right? AOII didn't ask them to come back, Panhel wanted another sorority and felt AOII was a good fit, so hop off your high horse spewing about why you don't know

decent mix of girls considering. some really hot ones, a few not so hot. i heard they're already being approached for tailgate partners for this year's remaining games. pretty racially diverse compared to most of greek life on campus. a lot is hanging on winter rush/next years pc

This is true we got asked to pregame with another frat but they were on sopro so it didn't happen

It's definitely an interesting mix of girls. There's not a "type" yet but there's nothing else to expect from a new house that just needed girls to fill up space. I heard they were selective though in the recruitment process (not everyone got bids and they had a lot less girls then they could admit) From the girls I know that joined they're all pretty nice. Look-wise there are girls on both ends of the spectrum. Will be interesting to see how things go for them this year and how well they do with recruitment next year.

from the girls i've seen wearing letters on campus they have a pretty cute bunch, i put them around pi phi/dg in this year's pc. could be better or worse next year or after winter rush. interested to see how their social calendar next semester shapes up when they start mixers/get a PGP

If house total is 160 but average house size is 200 that points to several houses way below house total. AOPi appears to be one of those below, yet they are a brand new chapter and have every reason to carefully choose members who will live-up to their demanding expectations. Just because a campus begins a new colony does not mean said colony bids anyone and everyone who desires sorority membership.
