Kappas are the type of girls who never hold the door for you and who talk over the professor in class. Arrogant, rude, and think they are better than everyone else. They are super cliquey not only to outsiders, but within their PCs. If you want a house that makes you constantly feel like you aren't good enough, go kappa.

Kappa girls are known as the richest on campus, they flash their wealth right in front of your face. they are classy but only because of the nice things they have- they don't have classy personalities. they are NOT friendly at all, infant very rude. some girls in kappa hate it, but stay in it because its kappa. They have okay sisterhood but terrible involvement on campus. don't think they know what their own philanthropy is... very social and known as hot and cool by guys. keeps ending up in top tier.

this is based off of the few girls i rushed who went kappa (mostly freshmen) and the girls i know from clubs (mostly upperclassmen), not rumors or reps: kappa is unexpectedly real, esp for a top tier sorority. they don't emphasize recruiting on looks, which is very respectable - every one i've met is just excellent at talking to people. niceness ranges from fake nice/gossipy to some of the kindest people i've met at u of m, so that might play into their ~controversial~ rep. call them loud or whatever, but hands down you cannot deny these girls are good at making a conversation. very cool, definitely some involved and high achieving girls among them.
