i heard they gained a lot of interest but lost some of it bc the dues are insane

AOPi nationals couldn't force their chapter at Cal to hand over free and clear the Cal chapter house (NOT owned by AOPi) so AOPi nationals couldn't sell that house and now AOPi nationals has no housing money to use here at Michigan. Couldn't rob Peter to pay for Paul. And AOPi still wants to open chapters at Connecticut and Arizona State, where will the money come from?

The AOPis at Michigan are wonderful, and no ishtstarting gal from California is going to ever know them because she has no more love for her former sorority home. Sad. She has to come here and knock women she's never met.

So not true. Maybe you should actually spend some time with them before you judge. Great group of girls. Yes the sorority is new but that doesn't make it bad.
