Alpha Chi Omega - ΑΧΩ Sorority Ratings at UM

I went into rush aiming for axo (not smart I know) but I also found myself really liking them and truly vibing with the girls who rushed me. The conversations were natural and flowed, and One girl even said things to me implying that she’d see me at the next round, etc. so you can see why I was surprised when I got dropped after the second round. I was so heartbroken, but now I realize its because of my appearance, I’m 5’5 and 150 pounds. I ended up loving the house I got but when I look at the axo pc I’m like ??? Some really not cute girls especially for a “top tier” house or whatever. They also cut some really gorgeous girls I know so I’m not sure what their type is or what they’re trying to do. Moral of the story: these girls are not as nice as they like to pretend they are, and don’t give in to their false promises during rush lol

We’re once the nicest top tier house but have been getting cattier and their new pc is such a mixed bag.... Will remain top tier but still a-chi-no-show

Some of the fakest girls I know. All friendly, but not all genuine. Fun, but I wouldn't trust most girls here... stop trying so hard to be top tier and just chill please

TOO MANY SELF RANKS!!! Bottom of the top, but a lot of girls wanted this house and got dropped. Great house but need to stop getting mean

Used to be a lot nicer, there still are some great girls but they have gotten cattier and more looks-based and very invested in being top tier. They seem to actually like each other and are considered wifeys of the top houses. Been partying more but still a-chi-no-show

so catty get over yourselves. Not as genuine as they used to be, and too many self ranks. Need to stop caring so much about what other people think. top, but will never be phi, tridelt, kappa.

Known as the “wifeys” of the top houses. Actually seem to be nice humans who like each other but I’ll be honest, they have been getting cattier and more “looks-based” over the years. Girls are known as “a chi no show” but since they tend 2 prioritize schoolwork/other extracurriculars, but they’ve definitely been going out and partying more this last year or two

They got too invested in being a "top" this year. They had a weird rush-definitely a weird combination of girls. Some fit the "top tier sorority" mold well, and others are surprising given their large focus on making top this year. Mostly top tier rejects with a couple of other girls thrown in. All the girls I know in it right now are mean and catty, interesting to see how this new pc will play out! Used to be good, but got too excited about ranking well last year.

I have a lot to say about this one. I rushed this sorority with no idea that it was a top tier one or would be considered a "harder" one to get into. However, I instantly fell in love with the girls I talked to, the philanthropy, and the chapter as a whole. After seeing I got asked back for philanthropy round, I was super excited and nervous to talk to the girls again, already knowing that I really liked and felt like I fit in with this chapter. During the philanthropy round, I had probably two of the best conversations I've had during rush so far. We talked about how I personally related to their philanthropy and how I felt like I had a strong connection to the chapter specifically. The girls agreed and seemed really invested in our conversations. This only lifted my spirits more as I knew that after those conversations I would definitely get called back to the sisterhood round. They even threw in hints into our conversation saying that I would "love the house tomorrow" and things along the lines of not wanting to wait to be able to see and talk to me again. Now I obviously don't really know how the recruitment process works on the other side but I'm sure it came down to choosing to eliminate either me or some other girl/s. Because I am someone who is decently attractive, over 150 pounds, and not really the look for what one might consider a "top tier sorority girl" they had to have used my looks as a deciding factor of whether or not they were going to invite me back because the conversation was definitely one of the most genuine and nice ones I've had. This extremely distresses me as I wished and hoped that recruitment would be more than about how a girl looks. In fact, it should just almost ONLY be on personality and conversation. I don't know for a hard fact that my weight and my looks are the reason why I was dropped but it isn't hard to come to that conclusion when I saw that all the girls who got called back for sisterhood round today fit that ideal body type of a perfect AXO girl. Sad to say I was very disappointed in a sorority I thought would really be for me.
