sorority rush as a sophomore transfer

I'm considering transferring to Tulane in the fall. I did not join a sorority at my current school, mostly because I knew I'd probably end up going somewhere else. How difficult is it to rush as a sophomore? My mom was a Pi Phi at Tulane so I'm a legacy, and I can get recs from several Pi Phis (all Tulane alumni).

Just try to meet sophomores in sororities in the fall to help support you during recruitment

Being a Tulane Pi Phi legacy will rly help if u end up wanting to go pi phi, at least for the first couple rounds
