How does being a legacy in one house effect my chances of getting into a different house? Will they all drop me because I'm a legacy to a different house?

You won't be dropped because you're a legacy to another house, but if you are one at a certain house it will most likely only get you through the first round at that house, but some sororities will still drop you at the first round as to not raise your expectations. However, most houses raise legacies to the beginning of bid lists on the last day because of national rules. Remember a legacy only means your sister or mother was in the sorority (grandmas, aunts, and cousins don't make you a legacy).

You won't get dropped from another sorority for being a legacy else where. Being a legacy only guarantees that you will make it to the second day. After that it depends on if you will fit in with the sorority.

It doesn't guarantee making it to the second day for some sororities.
