How important are alumnae letters of recommendation for sorority rush?

Not extremely important from what I know. It's useful for sororities to know a little bit about you, though.

They matter a lot more if they're from an in house alumni (an alumni of the chapter you're rushing) or someone from the national council. Recs won't get you a bid, but they do show you're serious about your interest in a sorority.

Honestly Tulane's Greek Life is pretty chill compared to big state schools so I would t be too concerned with recs
