top three (alphabetical):
Chi o, KKG, pi phi
Acceptable houses (alphabetical):
AEPhi, Phi Mu, SDT, Theta
(AEPhi won't be hurt too badly by the year off because they have such a particular type, and so many Tulane legacies)
New = Bad:
ADPi
(only in their own category because of the novelty, and because new means bad when things like tradition and rank are involved. Once their founding pledge class graduates, they'll be with theta, phi mu, sdt, and people will quit being snotty about them.)
Remember that the ranks in real life are determined by hotness, how dtf the sisters are, and how much they like to hardcore party, but that Greek Rank rankings include important considerations like class, involvement and sisterhood (so the tiers may not be accurate). Remember that joining a sorority is more than the ranking, and even the sororities known for partying have more substance than that. On the flip side, remember that every one at Tulane parties hard and has so much fun - you will have a social life no matter where you go. Join the house that makes you feel at home, and keep an open mind throughout the process! You'll find your fit.

I'm assuming this was posted on the wrong schools' site. Theta is much stronger nationally than its reputation at Tulane. PKT is only relevant in Texas and even that's debatable.

Quit being so smarmy cause your sorority isn't as highly ranked as you imagined.

Also everyone bashing Kappa, they have a vibe that MANY girls do not want to portray but they do well with the girls that like them.
Girls with a #1 focus on image/partying so intensely: Kappa and AEPhi, (< the 2 most drastically different mentalities than other houses), also Pi Phi
Well rounded girls like Chi O, some Pi Phi, Phi Mu, Theta, and SDT depending on personality (some girls would rather SDT after AEPhi)
Girls looking mainly for a house with a good IMAGE that didn't make the top 3 (regardless which) go Theta. Those focusing more on personalities choose SDT and phi mu.
Involved and studious girls favor Chi O and Phi Mu
Literally there are so many different things people look for that the one size fits all thing doesn't really work. This post has an accurate "generally agreed upon reputation" but this does not mean it is the order girls actually rush them. There is a reason there are not just 3 sororities: top-middle-and bottom, all of them are different groups of girls that have different draws.
the fact that 7/8 sororities and everyone else voting here agree shows that this post got it right (and really highlights some insecurities in the 8th sorority)
