how hard is it to get into a sorority?

honestly i feel bad for the freshman girls this year. every sorority is going to be so much harder to get into, given a) the size of the freshman class, and b) the fact that AEPhi is off campus.
pi phi chi o and kappa will be ruthless, which is business as usual, but i think we're gonna see the most changes in the middle tier. i can see a LOT of growth in SDT because they're gonna pull girls that would've otherwise gone AEPhi. theta will get the stream of kappa and chi o rejects (also business as usual) but since the ratio of quota to girls who go through rush is worse now, they'll benefit by getting girls that could've gone chi o or kappa any other year. phi mu and adpi will also get better PCs than usual.
overall, ladies, make sure you're on your a-game during rush this year. don't do anything too stupid this semester and be polite to the upperclassmen, because they're watching you even now - and practice your girl flirting between now and January!

Kappa Piphi and ChiO will no doubt all try to one up each other with the new pledge class, and with no AEPhi they're going to get the pick of the litter. The middle and bottom tiers will improve a lot- especially phi mu I'm sure they will move up to middle tier after this rush
