greek life for transfers
by: tulanetransferI'm an incoming sophomore transfer, and I'm wondering what greek life is like for transfers. Can/do transfers rush? Do most fraternities bid transfers? Is it exceptionally hard for transfers to get a bid?

Honestly if you click with a frat and the guys like you, you'll get a bid. Just know at Tulane, frat rush is all first semester so go to as many events as you can and make sure to meet guys and explain your situation once you've gotten to know them a bit. It's really important to go to all their events right off the bat because by the time "official" rush comes around in the spring, almost all bids are already given out.
