it should be Kappa Delta. They are a powerhouse in the south and would be a great fit for Tulane.

when was that decided- is sounds like no one knows since three different sororities are listed- Tri Delta, DG or Sigma Kappa. Not sure about Sigma Kappa or DG but Tri Delta would do well here.

Why the downvotes? Pi of AOPi was the second sorority at Tulane and the second national AOPi chapter. Were they terrible when they were here before?

this is dumb because nationals decides if they want to colonize, not the university. yes a school can make it known that they want to expand, but they don't pick.
also pretty sure dg is at loyola and for some reason we are tied to their panhellenic. so cant be dg.

There are like rules on geography/Tulane and Loyola have an agreement that we cannot have the same sororities.

They are literally right next door so it would be really weird if they did anyway like either theyd recruit the exact tame type of girls as is already joining on the other and like weirdly merge chapters (unlikely becasue tulane sororities typically think very poorly of theirs). Or it would create a weird rivalry between the two chapters that are right next door (aka horrible situation if you think about it -especially the opposite of what a sisterhood is supposed to be but obviously would happen)

That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Chapters can be at different universities in the same city and absolutely recruit different girls. There is no such thing as an agreement where two completely different universities can't have the same sorority. They are completely different chapters and unrelated to each other. Further, why would there be a rivalry amongst two chapters of the same sorority? What would they be competing for???

KD or Tridelta- KD is awesome at every school in LA and DDD is great at LSU. They have very strong alum connections and support locally. They would be a great fit here at Tulane.

DG or SK would be a better fit for Tulane. But I would go with DG since they are well known is the southern belt region.

rather see DG. SK is involved with a heavy expansion project at Indiana University for the Spring 2016 semester and they have another big expansion project happening in the Fall 2016.
