sorority rush as transfer

How is sorority rush as a transfer? Difficult?
I was accepted as a transfer from a southern school with intense greek life and did not join a house at my current school but would love to join one if possible if I went to Tulane.

I know a bunch of sophomores that rushed this year. You might have a problem getting a bid from houses like Kappa and AEPhi, but I know Pi Phi and Chi O for sure took transfer sophomores, and the other houses will look more personality than anything else. Just make sure you're on top of your game during rush; it's getting much more competitive from year to year, so getting a bid from any house means you have to put your best foot forward.

usually transfer sophomores get bids over non-transfer sophomores, at least that's what a little birdy in pi phi told me. and if that's pi phi's policy (which probably the most competitive sorority to get into) then I'd bet you it's the policy of the other houses on the row.
