Is a DISGRACE to sororities at Tulane. Making girls strip? Hazing? Really. That's NOT what sisterhood is about.

HOW THIS SITE HURTS GREEK LIFE:
This site has no system in place for quality control or limiting the number of ratings per person.?The unfortunate outcome is that fraternities and sororities use this site as a tool to launch smear campaigns and insult their rivals.?I think a little friendly rivalry is harmless but it can have unexpected consequences when posted online. Sorority girls can deal with gossip. If they made it through recruitment then they're tough enough.?I know because I made it through recruitment and in the end accepted a bid from my top choice sorority.?I can't even describe how excited I was on bid day. Personally, I would never have taken this site too seriously, but my mother did. As soon as I told her she googled my sorority, read a few slanderous comments, and then that was the end of my greek life.
I know this won't stop what's happening here. I just hope that come bid day next year someone else's parent will read this post and maybe be more understanding.

This site hurts Greek Life at Tulane in several ways. False accusations of hazing and probation are really injurous, especially when PNMs don't know better. Most of the houses at Tulane are competitive but friendly and supportive.

As you said, no control on these pages. Judging a house based on what is written here is a poor way to choose who to call your sisters. You may miss out on a great group of girls just because you've been predjudiced by the comments here. One love y'all!!

Inactive chapters are rated here, apparently spill over from the vitriol of serial bashing. It's very impossible to "bash" a closed soror and rating one in order to make a panhel look bad is no class. Using the letters of another house to do this is poor, a statement on the house who commented rather than whose letters were used. High school is over so please grow up.

If Greek Life at Tulane was as bad as some girls make it sound, no one would join. Instead more girls than in previous years signed up for recruitment and every house had the largest pledge classes. Must be doing A LOT right!!!
