tbh stick with it. you'll regret dropping and the only place you can COB is adpi.

I;ve hear each sorority has 1 or 2 open bids?.so long as girls drop

i dont think most of the sororities will have COBs, even if girls do drop, sororities might not want to make an effort to replace 2 girls if they're already at (or over) quota which most are.

are you allowed to receive a COB if you went to bid day for the sorority i'm currently in? I'm really trying to give it a chance, the girls are amazing. but I don't think it's me.

prob. not

COBs, most of the time, are for girls who dropped out of rush or girls who transfered in the Spring. in my sorority, we believe the effort is worth it. if someone decided to drop, we will have every intention of replacing her- freshman, sophomores, ext. sometimes it works out for the best. you get that girl you never knew you wanted.

NO. You are bound to your bid for 1 year. You can't drop and join another house. You can go through recruitment again next year.

honestly, in my opinion you should want to scream ur sorority from the roof top u love it so much...its a lot of $$ to spend on something you dont love
if ur not crazy about it, there are a million girls who would kill for ur spot-give it to someone who really wants it and will truly make their college experience

if you signed that form from panhel, you cannot take a bid from another sorority for another calendar year.

Not everyone falls in love with their sorority right away. That's ridiculous. Some people need to take time to get to know people before falling in love with them.

OP, please just give it time.

Only sororities who are under the house average can COB so that's only gonna be phi mu (maybe) or ADPi. Stick it out and wait for the first few events/ PC events, if you still think it's not a good fit you can drop and try again next year or try to COB next year. You have to wait a full calendar year to try to join another house...

From what I know, you cannot be released from a house and get a bid.
Last I heard, phi mu is likely not going to take any COBs. I know someone who got an email about an ADPi bid.

we had to let amazing girls go for stupid reasons- sophomores, 1 point two low for GPA, not a legacy, ext.
if ur not in love with your sorority. do yourself and everyone else a favor and give it to girls who really want it

ADPi will most likely COB, no other house probably will

Unless you want adpi or to be gdi I would stay where you are and give it a chance.

No one knows who can offer COB until total is set, but I doubt Theta will. They are one of the largest houses and took quota plus.

Theta is definitely not COBing. They are one of the biggest houses.

It doesn't matter how large of a house or if they got quota plus, lots of girls didn't show up bid day so theta could have to cob

You must be thinking of another house. Everyone showed up at Theta for Bid Day.

i know of at least one girl who didn't go to bid day who probably would've been in theta and of another who recently dropped them
