Been this way forever, but Kappa and Pi Phi are a rank above Chi O and Theta. Just these are the houses that are the most desired during recruitment with the highest number of girls wanting to return. Anyone who tells you different is lying. These 4 houses also all have less parties than the other houses and huge cuts the first 2 rounds of recruitment.

Not sure about frats having a big 4. Seems like every year it changes.
