north vs. south

anyone else agree that there is a very obvious divide between the north and the south when it comes to greek life at tulane? not to say that they're aren't people from both at every pledge class. but if you ask someone from the north who the best houses are they would have a very different answer than someone from the south would

sig ep
aepi
sae (sort of)

southern frats:
ka
fiji
kappa sig (sort of)

northern sororities:
pi phi
aephi
sdt

southern sororities:
chi o
kappa (depending who you talk to)
theta (sort of)

fiji and kappa sig are not southern...if by southern you mean a bunch of northerners from maryland and chicago then yes "southern"

north:
pi phi
aephi
sdt
adpi

south:
chi o
kappa
theta (northern South, like Virginia)
phi mu

fraternities are more mixed, but KA definitely leads the way in Southern roots and Sig Ep leads the way in northern

Frats are mixed way more than sororities but KA is definitely known as the southern one

Sororities are mixed too but Pi Phi and AEPi are definitely Northern and Chi O and Theta are definitely Southern
