Srat letter of recs?
by: freshmanI know that sorority letter of recs are optional at Tulane but how important are they? I don’t really know any adult women who were in sorority’s so don’t know how I’d get one. - pc25

Who you know matters a lot more than rec letters. A letter on its own will not make the difference in whether or not you get a bid, especially if it was just written by a virtual stranger out of obligation and the person writing doesn't actually know you or have any relationship/pull within that chapter.
I would focus more on really getting to know actives in the chapters you're most interested in so you have people in the house who know you and are pulling for you when you go through. That is a much better way to get on the chapters' radars than getting a letter!
