Fall rush for sophomores

Yeah you can pledge in the fall also. Tulane has spring rush/ pledge for freshmen but for sophomores you can rush/pledge in the fall. It’s a little weird at Tulane rush is not structured at all you have to get in contact with the guys by yourself. Usually frats have stands out at the beginning of the year where you can get on the rush lists. It might be kind of difficult to rush as a sophomore tbh cause most of the time the fall pledges are guys that are friends with the pledges last semester, so I would just suggest trying to make friends with guys in frats once you get there. If you’re in the new dorms/ Aaron it shouldn’t be too hard to meet people in frats, other wise it might be a little difficult cause the other dorms aren’t super social. Good luck hope this helps.

Also don’t worry too much about frats. They’re fun, but they definitely aren’t necessary to have fun and make friends here. Parties get boring after a while, and a lot of people drop junior year. That isn’t meant to dissuade you and I’ve enjoyed my time in a frat, but just know that they won’t make or break your college experience at Tulane, compared to how it might at some larger schools.
