Sisterhood round
by: XoxoSo I only have one sorority left that I can really see myself fitting in. I have to visit four houses today and three of them I have consistently ranked at the bottom. I get the whole idea of giving it my all but I just don’t see me fitting in with some that keep asking me back. I obviously don’t want to brick wall anyone but how can I subtlety let them know that I don’t see it as a match. I don’t want to take a spot from another pnm that may really like the sorority.

Don’t do this! Here’s a personal anecdote:
I personally felt this way and ended up in a house that I actively didn’t want. I told people I’d rather drop than be in this house, I told people I’d rather take a sorority that was considered ranked lower (stupid, ignore ranks on here, they aren’t even accurate) than this one.
The truth is, the sororities know more than you do. They know their sisters, they also know who else they are heavily recruiting. I didn’t start to like my sorority until well after big little…I didn’t even like my big! But as I got to know my PC and a few of the other sisters, I realized there was a niche within my sorority that I fit into to a tee. I would’ve never even known this niche existed prior/during rush and never would’ve met who ultimately became some very close friends.
And reminder! Your sorority ends up determining soooo little.
