SRATS RUSH 2023 OPEN HOUSE THOUGHTS

Honest thoughts of open house. Keep in mind that I only talked to 1-5 girls from each house. I’m sorry if this is harsh!
ADPI: girls were so sweet. they conversed much better and were much prettier than expected. everyone in my rc loves them but they aren’t planning on accepting a bid necessarily. no water.
TRI DELT: i was disappointed. i was really excited and didn’t love the girls i was paired with. i want to meet a couple more girls next round if they don’t drop me but i don’t think my opinion will rlly change. but, the speech was so great. no water.
THETA: i did not expect to love theta so much. i had great conversations, they gave out nice cups of water with ice and their exec board walking out to speak to all the pnms was awesome. i’m paying attention to who they’re inviting back bc idk if they will have a good pc or not.
PHI MU: ehh. not much to say. no bad interactions but nothing good. i hope they drop me so i don’t have to go back. but i didn’t drop them bc i strongly disliked others more. also a lot of people have good things to say abt their experience. no water.
AEPHI: hated. i was counting the minutes till i could get out of there. wasn’t paired with someone that shared anything in common with me. they flickered the lights at the end and didn’t even walk all the pnms out. most of my rc did not like them. they asked inappropriate questions abt religion- specifically judaism. no water.
CHI O: i really really liked chi omega. i didn’t have the most amazing conversations ever but they were still really good. gave water. most people really loved chi omega.
SDT: hated. the girls i talked to we’re so uninterested in me. it was so hard to keep a conversation and i didn’t vibe with either of the girls i was paired with. heard some horror stories abt sdt. i agree that sdt is the target version of aephi. had water.
KAPPA: loved way more than i expected. i wanted to not like them but the girl i was paired with was amazing. we did have a lull in conversation at one point but she was lowkey carrying. i was shocked and hate how much i thought they were so kind and genuine because i don’t want to get my hopes up since i heard they keep girls till perf then drop them out of the blue. also they dirty rush so much and i wasn’t dirty rushed. no water.
PI PHI: i really really liked pi phi. the conversation was pretty much on the same level with chi o. good conversation but not necessarily incredible. i’m really excited to talk to more than one girl because they have such great members. everyone in my rc liked them. literally no one dropped them in my rc.
