Right now, here is how it is:

SAE
SigEp

KA
Kappa Sig (depending on who you ask)
AEPi (depending on who you ask)
Fiji
Zeta Psi
Sigma Chi
ZBT
DTD
Phi Kap

BUT that might change after the new pledges in the spring

The above post is correct. KA was top tier, but SAE and SigEp are in their own stratosphere now. Then come the rest.

Top Tier :
Sig Ep

Used to be top tier as well but can't have anymore pledges anymore, so here you are:
SAE

Would be top Tier if you didn't take ten kids per pledge class:
KA

Would be sorta top tier if you didn't take 30 kids per pledge class and have no legit frat house with letters:
AEPI

Middle tier:
Fiji
Kappa Sig

Bottom Tier:
Sigma Chi
Phi Kap
ZBT

@fratguy and what objections do you have to this extremely accurate ranking? you can say its total bs, but if you don't explain why you disagree, your comment is actually useless! @fratguy please help me out

@honest, I'm sure you're just baiting, but I'll bite.

First thing to mention, Zeta Psi and Delt are conspicuously absent from your rankings.

Secondly, do you seriously think SAE is going to follow nationals orders to a tee? There will almost certainly be some form of tiered membership and they will likely retain their current position. Pretty much right about Sig Ep and KA, though.

Next, even with a lettered house, I dont think AEPi would be top tier, but obviously that's just my speculation, since they had a house for a number of years. They're more or less interchangeable with Kappa Sig, depending on who you ask. Fiji is close to both Kappa Sig and AEPi, but Fiji hasn't overtaken them yet.

And finally, how you can list Phi Kap as anything but the very bottom makes me think you're upset at ZBT for something. ZBT and Sig Chi are roughly the same level, though ZBT seems to be on the upswing since they're still pretty new and just got their house back, while Sig Chi seems to be stagnating.

If you want to get nitpicky sigchi and dtd are probably a little ahead of zbt and phikap but still a significant step down from the mids

honestly it all depends what grade you're in. different years will have radically different perceptions. For example the older SAE's are far cooler than the younger ones, and the younger AEPIs and Kappa Sigs are cooler than the older ones. Same goes for Zeta Psi.
