Pref Round: Computer matching

So if I put a Srat #2 on pref night, but they put me as #1 or top ten ranked (totally hypothetical), but my #1 Srat put me at like 40…..where do you think I’d be placed? Does anyone really understand this algorithm?

So basically there is an A list and a B list of pnms that they wanna give bids to. If your #1 has you on their A list you match but if they don’t then the algorithm tries to match you to your #2 and their A list… if you dont match again then it repeats for their B lists and if you don’t match either you become a quota addition … kinda simplified but that’s the basis and how it really becomes a mutual selection
