how hard is it to get your top sorority?

Hi! I went into the process super open minded not really knowing about the sororities much other than their philanthropies (I did a bit of research beforehand). I'm a sophomore so I rushed on zoom and honestly was super surprised about how well I fit into the PC and sorority I ended up in. I only knew one girl in another srat that I could have fit well into (and had in pref) but soon going through the process I found another srat that I REALLY liked and felt super comfortable in and that's where I ended up! Just follow the vibes of the girls and try not to get caught up in the "rankings" and all that its so dumb because the whole point is to find girls who are similar to you and can become your best friends. That's what I found in mine, and even though I had the 2 I thought I would fit into the best on pref, the sorority I'm in is definitely where I'm meant to be! Good luck :) xo

my recommendation is to not have a top house until the rush process. i know a ton of people who had a terrible experience bc they decided what house they wanted before rush and wouldn’t budge even when they had bad experiences during the process and then once they got released they were devastated. go in with an open mind!!! ignore the ranks bc they aren’t real and literally don’t matter. choose whatever houses you feel like you fit in best and don’t let other people talk you out of your decisions
