re-rushing next year
by: b3rmSomeone told me in passing she thinks that one of the houses (I think pi phi or kappa? Not sure) automatically cuts PNMs who have gone through recruitment before (not even accepted a bid, just been in recruitment and withdrawn). Is this a real thing, I withdrew this semester after philanthropy and plan to re rush next year, does that mean some sororities will automatically cut me when I do?

Unfortunately yes, some houses are less likely to accept sophomore pnms that's usually the big three. That's not to say is's impossible! If you have friends in a house, it can happen that they'll pull for you enough for you to get bid. It's just extremely rare. The bottom tiers don't care what year you are, as long as you are a good fit within the chapter. And then tri delta has to accept everyone unless they're a concern academically or otherwise until they reach total, which will likely take a few years

I’m in a considered “top” house and that isn’t true! Tri delta will have the same quota as everyone else and has been making cuts all week
