I've got no connection to Tri Delt but you would be smart to take a bid from them if you get the chance. They are super strong nationally and their hq will put a lot of time and effort into making this chapter good. Their chapters are top tier almost everywhere, from SEC schools to more elite schools. I know you are taking a chance bc you worry they won't be a top house and they probably won't but it will be super cool to start something new from the ground up. And besides there are only so many slots in the top houses here.

They just arent a top house nationwide. I’m sure they have some solid houses in the south but nationally Pi Phi, Kappa, and Theta are the strongest

I was a spring scholar and didn’t rush last year. I’m thinking of giving Tri Delta a serious look. It’s a good sorority. Also, I could avoid going through Spring recruitment. I heard horror stories about recruitment last year and I’m scared. A lot of girls on my hall were cut immediately from the top 4. Some of my friends even transferred because of it.

tbh most girls are cut from the top 4 the first day. Biggest cuts are day one and two. more than half of the girls coming to the house are cut each round but that’s just how rush works. The top houses ask less girls back each day and the sorority with the lowest retention asks the most in order to give each house a fair chance at getting a full pledge class

I think they’re not really putting a number on it, just trying to take girls that “fit their core values”. I don’t think they have to reach quota until next year so they can be as selective as they want

DDD has always be of the strongest houses for philanthropy which is St. Judes.
Being on the ground floor of anything is special since there are no stereotypes to conform to.
They are within the top tier houses, with many firsts.
They are very strong, but what makes them even more unique is their strong relationships and sisterhood for life, not just college!

You know nothing about Greek life. They are somewhat strong in the south but fair to middling nationwide.
