this is coming from a recent phi mu alum...
everyone always posting in here about fakeness and rich girls and blahhh whatever are right. but thats literally inevitable with sororities, which were founded on exclusivity and classism. like sorry bout it haha
i was a phi mu (one known for sisterhood and empowerment and whatever) and its still a ton of rich white chicks pretending to care about buzz topics, but did we ever hold meetings etc to try to make a difference as an organization? lol nah. in fact, i felt the most ostrasized by my sorority for not fitting the typical upper middle class, white, feminist stereotype.
its the nature of organizations that are exclusive and then cost hundreds/thousands of dollars a semester.
