The reason why Greek life is trending downward is simple.
There 5 active fraternities (Sig Chi, ZBT, KA, Zeta Psi, Fiji)
There are 6 sororities. The size of sorority pledge class is usually bigger than an entire fraternity.
This simply means guys are super outnumbered are there just aren't enough frats. How is the fraternity and sorority mixing dynamic going to work.
This also means guys simply aren't getting the same opportunities women are to getting a chance to be in Greeklife, as fraternities are punished unfairly, and as a result there are very few left.
Why isn't Tulane adding more sororities & fraternities, and why is Tulane killing a frat every year.
This model won't work for long. Who knows what it will look like two years from now.
Maybe its time for the underground frats to save Tulane's party scene.

Does DTD have a freshmen pledge class? I thought everyone who had bids to DTD couldn’t sign
