Are they on probation and why did they not tell us during Rush?

Kappa is on probation because they did not book their bid day venue at the boot, they just showed up. This was during the strict, dry period before classes started. Looks pretty bad considering they all showed up in a bar with their kappa shirts on.

They aren't allowed to have any social events. Usually probation lasts a semester, but it depends on what they did and what the Greek Office decides it wants to do. If it's something big, like hazing, it can last a full year.
