what is being in a sorority at tulane really like?

by: Nickname

Hi! With rush right around the corner, I'm getting nervous about what Greek Life is even like at Tulane. Can someone in a sorority please explain/elaborate on their experience so far? I know Tulane isn't a huge state school where "your whole life is Greek Life", but I want to know how involved people get. I'm afraid that everyone has their friend groups already and won't be open to making new friends in their sorority. I want to be involved and passionate about my sorority, but I feel like all of the older girls I know refer to their sorority as just "an extra social outlet". This kind of concerns me because I almost went to a large state school where Greek Life is huge and fun. Please let me know your experiences! Thank you so much

if u don’t have a solid friend group make sure to rush a sorority that is known for their sisterhood, also just pick the house you feel the most comfortable in

Honestly my sorority has not only given me my best friends in the whole world it gave me a family and honestly I couldn’t imagine my college experience without my sistas. It’s obviously like a huge part of your social life here but that’s expected cause we’re in the south
